I step into the future
Don't know what's in store
I'll be walking new pathways
Learning more
Meeting new faces,
Making new friends,
The time has come to move on,
It's time to change.
It's hard to leave the things you know and understand
And set out on a journey on unfamiliar land
It's hard to leave old friends behind and walk away,
But the time has come to move on, it's time to change.
But my friends are a part of me,
A part of my personality,
Always there to guide me
Wherever I happen to be
The past leaves its mark on me,
And makes me the person I am
And the good things go with me
When it's time to change.
The seasons turn, and the years move on,
Nothing ever stands still, changing day by day
Good wishes go with me
And speed me on towards the sun
The time has come to move on,.
It's time to change.
Change for the better?
Change for the worse?
Who can tell it better…
It's for me to make it work
The sun is up and shining
And there's a rainbow in the sky
I'm going to find my pot of gold,
It's time to change.
It's time to change, It's time to change,
The time has come to move on,
it's time to change.

My Comfort Zone
I used to have a comfort zone
where I knew I wouldn't fail.
The same four walls and busywork
were really more like jail.
I longed so much to do the things I'd never done before,
But stayed inside my comfort zone and paced the same old floor.
I said it didn't matter that I wasn't doing much.
I said I didn't care for things like commission checks and such.
I claimed to be so busy with the things inside the zone,
But deep inside I longed for something special of my own.
I couldn't let my life go by just watching others win.
I held my breath; I stepped outside and let the change begin.
I took a step and with new strength I'd never felt before,
I kissed my comfort zone goodbye and closed and locked the door.

Xtreme Run 2010
Last December 19, 2010, me and my husband ran our first 5K marathon. Actually this is more like a fun run since an actual marathon is pegged at 42K. Nevertheless it was a fun activity. This run (Xtreme Run 2010) was sponsored by the Pioneer Mighty bond in benefit of Bantay Bata 163.
We arrived in the venue at Tiendesitas around 5:15am. The run will start at around 5:40am. Since it started to rain, the run started at around 5:30am. The 3K runners were the first to run, these runners are parents with children. Next are the 5K runners (that's us) then the 10K runners and lastly the 15K runners.
Since we did not have practice prior to the run, as expected I was having cramps in my legs during the race. Oh well, since this is just a trial run to see if I can finish a 5K race, because one of my new years resolution for year 2011 is to run at least 3 race next year.
I felt proud when I finished the race because we never gave up despite the leg cramps. Our time was 62minutes. I promised myself that we do better next time.
