Migi's Jollibee Birthday Cake

Our son Migi really likes jollibee, his favorites includes spaghetti, palabok, and peach mango pie. As a two year old he would consumed one serving of jollibee spaghetti and would even raised his pointer finger to indicate that he wants more. He watches the Jollibee town show every Sunday. That's why for his 2nd birthday, we wanted to do something related to Jollibee. Due to time constraints in preparation and some budget considerations, we decided to just celebrate Migi's Second Birthday with family at my husband's parents house. We wanted to give him a Jollibee cake unfortunately Red ribbon bakeshop doesn't do Jollibee cake unless you acquired a Jollibee party package at a Jollibee store. After knowing that, I resigned to just ordering a regular birthday cake, but then I remember that a bakeshop wherein I had ordered Migi's First Birthday Cake do customized cakes. I contacted them and they happily agreed to do Migi's Jollibee Birthday cake.

Migi is real thrilled upon seeing Jollibee in his cake. Here's the picture of my son blowing the cake.

Baby Superman Cake by Kitchen Krafts

This post is long overdue.  This is my first installment on my ongoing series on Migi's first birthday bash!
Our cute little boy, Carlo Miguel, turned one last September 9. Like every other parent, we are amazed how quickly time flies – it seems hard to believe that it's already been a year since he came into this world. We celebrated this important milestone with a small party. The party was attended by many of our relatives and some friends.

One of the suppliers that I got for Migi's birthday is Kakekrafts. The cake they made is very cute and some of the guest said it looked like our son, Migi,  thus I think his cake deserve to be featured all by itself.
We have a theme for his party: Superman. I was searching the Internet for a supplier that would do a superman cake but most cake from other bakeshop will only put a toy figurine of an adult superman. I already have a vision of what the cake would look like. It must be a 3D baby wearing a  superman costume with his hands up in the sky. Below is the design I wanted.

Luckily, I found out about Kakekrafts. I just gave them what I wanted for my son's birthday cake and with 2 weeks lead time they transformed the design into an actual cake.

I also had my souvenir made by Kakekrafts. It is a cookie with baby justice league as decorations. Again I just gave them the design and they copied it without a hitch. Kakekrafts can really personalize cakes and cookies if you really want to surprise a loved one.
